Yes it could be the engine management light, what type of corsa is it??

mine did that to drove home then left the car for a bit and was ok by the sounds of it tho urs aint gone of opps another pointless post sorry

Its been sat for an hour now so might go and try it.

My dad had something similar on his 2.0 DTI vectra.

My car ran fine, his wouldnt let him go over 40 or to high revs and no turbo.

It was fine next day.

Hope mines ok.
