a couple of days ago i did an insurance quote on a 55 plate corsa sxi 1.2
ill spare you all the details but it came to about £850 give or take
so im just mucking about on autotrader doing insurance quotes on beemers and mercs etc
and find this
its an opel veccy edition 100 2.0T group 14
sez in specs 175 bhp
no circumstances had changed in the course of a few days,
so why is the difference in insurance prices only £150 (best insurance quotes both with swift cover)
not complaining but it just seemed odd

One is a corsa that loads of young guys have then crash, the second is a rep vectra that doesn't get crashed by young guys.

lol sound reasoning
unless i get hold of it and the missus goes on the insurance in which case rep mobile that gets crashed by woman that prides herself on inability to park :S
