i dont see how you can establish it's a heap with 2 pictures.

Me either, other than the nast rear lights and centre caps missing, it looks rather clean for a 12 year old car tbh.

Think i sold it about 2-3 years ago now, didn't really want to sell but needed to because i needed a work van. I spent a hell of a lot of money including two engine rebuilds on the 2.1 XE, had a quaiffe when i sold aswell. It was mint..... Maybe I am being harsh but it's looking pretty sorry for itself imo and i think he's asking top money for it...

wouldnt pay the asking price, 2.5k for a car with no mot or tax and it doesnt starts properly

My mate bought this from you pal when it was an XE, Mike he's called, ring a bell? I told him from the start that he spoilt it by putting the let in and by them rear lights and the fuel cap lol, and he agrees looking back, sayin he wished he kept it as it was. He had no end of problems with the let, blowing it to bits at first as it was running silly boost when removed from a mk 3 astra. rebuilt and just had problem after problem. Sold it in the end with a smoking turbo and a missfire. Don't know what happened to it when he got rid though.

Was absolutely immense when my mate bought it, spoilt it lol, still got a pic of the bay when he first picked it up, ill have a route now.

Yeah was a lovely car, when I had it I put the silver softstars on and spoiler. Looked pretty standard when I first got it. Two rebuilds and a quaife later and it was awesome. Still regret selling it now..... Ended up selling to my mate who put the Opel grill and speedlines on it...
