...front bumper

my mates finally finished my stunning new bumper and i want to fit it but dont want to make a mess. both lugs are practically there. what goes through them? part number??

take the old bumper off and use the same bolts to put the new one on

the one thats on is really bodged on by a cowboy lol

what goes through the lugs bits behind the wheel arches?

The screw that slides into the wheel arch trim, 9 times out of 10 they're broken. You'll have a few screws on the front slam panel, and a few more under the front.

the wheel arches were stuck on with evo stick when i got the car as it was hella low
screws on the BENT slam pannel are a mixture of screws iirc, self tapping ones i think
and the few under the front should be ok

so is there no specific screw that goes in the lugs then?

theres 2 in Durham mate..
are the ones than go in the bumper different to the ones that hold the arches on though??

There are about 5 or 6 phillips and torx under the front behind the splitter.
The one that go into the slam panel.
The ones that are behind the front of the arch plastics. 10mm plastic nut accessible from the inside of the arch. They're the tricky ones that normally break.

My car was a shed anyway, so I just drilled through the plastic arch and cable tied it and the bumper on

it was held in with self tacking screws on the top ether side of the grill and the passenger side. got it sorted now. little bit of saggy-bumper-syndrome but its a pattern part bumper so thats to be expected
