If it was my own I'd just spur off ring , into a 1 way dis board (£15) 20a breaker . Then from breaker a 2.5 twin to commando socket , or change that spur for a 20a double pole switch and off that to socket .

Why dont you just do things properly like i said? Its ok trying to save money and doing things on the cheap. But things like electrics and gas isnt really the place you want to do it.
Its ok saving £100 on an installation. But you would regret it if it caught fire and caused some damage or even worst, someone died because of it.
