If its a 1.4 8v running 80bhp or a 1.4 8v running 150bhp, the gearbox will only allow it to the same top speed.

Mate had a 1.4 they are quite nippy. Depending on how cheap it is it's probs not worth the hassle tbh

ive got a 1.2 8v atm the body work is mint and.engine dosnt sound to.healthy but wud.b a shame to scrap it

Dont scrap it, when the engine blows up sell it as a mint shell for a conversion
