Im hopefully going to look at a Seat Leon FR TDi tomorrow; the car is a 54 plate with 66K on the clock. I have owned a LCR before and really liked it; but dont really know a huge amount about them really. So wondering if anyone could help

keep an eye on electrics on a long test drive, the left hand side of all seats/skodas/vw's/audis seem to have awful electronical problems with everything from bulb warnings to PAS and ABS

All experianced in family/mates cars of recent

Seat Leon FR+ TDI would be my choice, has the Cupra R style body kit and 17" versions of the LCR wheels.

You probably know all this but:
The window regulators might fail at some point, causing the glass to fall into the door. Scared the shit out of my when it happened. Didn't cost much to fix but was a pain in the arse to do myself.

Don't think the PD diesel engines suffer the same kind of faulty Bosch sensor faults that the 1.8T does.

Thanks for all the advice; would prefer the FR+ but ££'s wont stretch that far really for a 2nd car

What is the cambelt schedule for these?

A bit more fun than the 307 i have been stuck with for the past year :-) I think this will end up getting used more than our a4 estate if im honest!

I'll have a look at that rear wiper cheers Dont really plan on doing anything to it; but then again a set of BBS CH in anthracite would look nice!
