i am looking at buying a C20xe wondering around what price will it cost me to rebuild it and around what price would it cost me for 16 valvas and 4 pistons standard onces

Why rebuild? Just give it a clean up and if needs changing change it but for me when i had mine done it was about 300 for usual service parts and oils etc all iwould do is
cambelt kit
water pump
head off cleaned valves checked new stem seals etc
head gasket
bolts
arp conrod bolts (xe loves the limiter)
Plugs
filter
Ht leads
oil and filter (good stuff)
Inlet and exhaust gaskets (i changed every gasket)
Throttle body clean up
i got roose hoses

etc etc you could spend millions lol if your getting new pistons get oversized ones and valves about 9 quid each i paid speak to philip2 he nos his stuff and could get you the parts?

I paid near on a grand rebuilding mine, getting the crank ground bores honed new shells gaskets paint blah blah blah

Shit the bed was thinking of buying a cheep C20 but the cambelt snaped and suspected bent valves that's why I was asking thaught I may as well rebuild the lot if I buy it

Just over 1k i cud build an xe with headwork, piston work and cams
