I've bought a steering rack from a guy in Durham, but need it delivering to Bolton.
He's offered to bind it to a pallet for me, so now I need to find a reasonably priced courier.

I've seen other sellers quoting £10.50 to post a rack, but I guess I'll be expected to pay more due to it being on a pallet

Can anyone reccomend any cheap couriers?

why would you put a steering rack on a pallet?
thats going to be very expensive. just have it wrapped well and use a normal courier

I think the seller cant be arsed packaging it as I won it on ebay quite cheap. He has stated local collection, but would be willing to send if buyer arranged collection.

In that case, does anyone know of any couriers that would collect and package it (or collect it un-packed)?

Would a member not collect for you and wrap and send from them?

Slip them a few beer tokens, would be shit loads cheaper than a pallet!

Try someone like http://www.palletforce.com/ or http://www.palletline.co.uk/ - there is loads of palletised distribution services. Generally aimed at B2B rather than B2C I think.
