Runway was sprayed before landing.

Apparently the guy is a glider pilot in his spare time, probably helped

Skills! Must be horrible being a passenger in that situation. Your life is in the pilots hands and you have no idea if he has the talent and experience to bring it down safely.

Same! Remember that pilot a few years back that landed in Hudson River in New York? Should have been an impossible emergency landing!

Will of been to cool the body down to prevent it from catching fire,

alot of heat will of been generated in that landing
