Not at that size, at any size Twiggy is buying you can though.

I'd cry if I had to pay £900 for tyres.

Thing is though you would not change the tyres on a new car you bought would you, just because they are 2nd hand?

Fair enough if there shit makes ect....

Look of the draw though. I had cheapo' on the front of my megane when i picked it up (due to punctions on the forecourt), and a bold goodyear f1.

I eventually swapped all 4 for avon zz3 and found it handle worse. Very slidy

Its not luck of the draw its skimping on tyres

Avons worked well on my Corsa, but they are a budget tyre.

If you buy shit tyres, it will make the car shit. Only thing between you and the road is the tyre. Like people on here back in theday would blow £2k fitting a "redtop" then spend £5 opn wanli ditch finders

The way I looked at it, it was a 40-50k car when new, if it goes wrong it's going to be expensive. But in the meantime, it's clearly going to be an amaxing car all round for them to charge that much in the first place.

Tyres I can vouch for being expensive, but you'll only need to replace the rears mostly.

Do what I did & just do it whilst you can or you may regret it a few years down the line. For me it's a car I've always wanted to own so it's worth every penny

That is how I am looking at it, I can afford one at the moment and it is my chance to own a car I have wanted for years, sort of like a realistic dream car

To everyone else, I would NOT be skimping on tyres
All going well I should have a new car thread end of January

You wouldn't if you'd pay good money for the car. If you can afford the car then buy the tyres. I'm sure you know in all your infinite wisdom owning a car is not just about the cost of the inital purchase.

Pretty much the same sentence I said to myself a couple of months ago, do it now or else you may regret it a few years down the line

I can happily afford one at the moment but after buying a house in a couple of years I doubt I will be able to afford to run one.

I'd love an SMG E46.

My 330Ci is around £800 for a set of tyres, I run Michelin Pilot though.
