Hello after been baffled by gearbox problems on my x14xe sport I bought a run about corsa 1l 12 volt.the run about has beter bodywork some was thinking about swaping the engines once I get a new gearbox or fixed this f13 cr one how hard of a swap is it to do could I reuse 1l gearbox any help would be great or if there is a guide about anywere thanks

You can use 1.0 box. There's a guide for wiring too on here in the guides section.

Thanks I will have a look do you use standard engine mounts was it you who I got the gsi shell from a few years ago silver and black

Linch I didn't know ya could use a 1lt box on a sport engine can imagine that it will pull like a train from stand still

I used a f13 cr that use to take off but cant find half off the gears and was pricey to run on a motor way run

I can only imagine that using a 1lt box will give ya mint acceleration but will dramatically reduce top end

Yep same bell as all smallblock cars. Quick of the mark. Different final drive ratio.

thats mint good info to have lol i really can imaging it being quick of the mark i seen my mates saxo vts with a 1.1 box on it and it flew off the mark like

Would the 1l flywheel and clutch also fit or will I have to stick to the x14xe ones thanks for your help

Do you know if the x14xe uses a sachs pressure plate because thats what I removed and changed it for an ebay one for the x14xe and wouldn't disengage not sure if its had a different flywheel put on its confusing the hell out of me cheers for the help so far
