Picked this up last night to get me around in the snow. Years mot, 6 mths tax and all its needing is a couple of rear springs to get the back end up again (common issue with foresters). All for a grand!

I was looking at Forester Turbo S's a little while back but couldn't justify the running and insurance costs for a winter hack as they were more than the Mini!

Yes it is not a bonny car!

Rich this is a non turbo, god knows how crap on fuel the turbos are becuase this is shocking.

Colin theres plenty about but there mostly the newer shape that still go for strong money.

I'm not surprised to hear it's juicy tbh, still a capable car for the snow though - living right out in the sticks like I do, loads of people have them around here and they were some of the only people unaffected by the snow last year!

I fancied the Turbo S to be a chav with a dump valve and the fact it was almost as quick as the Mini too

Aye I've been watching vids on youtube, they look pretty capable.

Will fit the back springs this week and give it a service so its ready to go.

Rich if I break this over the winter I'll turbo it if not it will just get stashed somewhere till next winter.

I've chilled out.. Got an 07 TDCi Mondeo now and this for the second car. Chop and change my bikes now instead.

Not quite worked out how the rwd 15 ton truck I park at the house is going to get out but will worry about that when it happens.
