I dont agree the lotus looks far nicer plus its a lotus...I agree that the VX220 turbo engine will be a lot better though. Still would sooner drive the lotus though.

The cooling issues were the reason for the delay on the Turbo anyway. You can get performance mods for the car, but with the standard intercooler you'd need to be careful. A lot of cash if you blow one up!

its mid engine isnt it?
if theres space put in a electric fan and aquamist injection
or cut holes in body work at the sides infront of rear wheels styled obviously and run ducting into engine bay

Yup it's mid engined. as for ducting, the Turbo has a serious pair of intakes anyway.
As for tuning the Turbo, with 200bhp and a 13.5 sec 1/4 mile, do you really need to? Also with more power it'd be more than a handful.

it has a duct that sits hight above the bay and ducts air down from the roof !

no chance is it better lookin than a lotus, rather the elsise anyday just to say i got a lotus rather than i got a vauxhall, will b soo quick tho the vz220 turbo

That's the reason people aren't buying the VX. Badge snobbery. I'm perfectly happy saying I drive a Vauxhall - particularly when I'm whooping pretty much any other car on the road down the twisty bits

vx220 turbo can be used as an everday car unlike the lotus. i know its built by lotus but mechanicly its vauxhall
