WELL, it really depends on what type of system you are building. If you are after a real head turner, with loads of power and bass. Then im affraid you have bought the wrong ICE. although if you are going for more the SQ approach, then you are going in the right direction OK its not the best sub in the world BUT you could have chosen worse. RM audio, SPLX, ProPlus(amps are good). So if i were you. i would get a good amp to power the sub, then some quality components and run them off another amp. Then some sound deadning. Your done
Should sound pretty sweet.

If you are running them well. And have set the amps up well then it should sound pretty good. just make sure the amps are getting enough power. Use some Dynamat Extreme in the doors and the boot. Will sound miles better

I cant fault my Sony Headunit. Its the CDX-M670. And for all those who said Sony Headunits distorts above half volume............................
I just installed my new sub and amp on firday. Well pleased with it! Pioneer TSW-1201C sub and a mono Alpine amp. Getting a bigger Amp soon so it'll pound even more! On my stealth shelf i've got Alpine SPR-694A 6x9's which are the absolute bollox!!!!!!!

Total Vauxhall sez that 6x9s arent essential. If u hav a set on the back shelf and a sub in the boot chances r they will affect each others performance!

got limiters on me 6x9s, they still kick out bass, but not loads as they start to fart when i turn bass on loads, got 2 12" vibes in my car but my decent bass amp went walkies, so got an american pro 800watt amp powerin them, dont do them justice but still sounds louder than most cars! did have focal components up front but the tweaters broke so got some cheapish kenny components up front now
