Where the fuck can I get them from? :L. Or are they just the same arches used on mk3 golfs ect?

Not the same as Golfs, when I was looking for a set for mine I was told you can't get them new no more so I ended up buying a 2nd hand set, you need side strips to go with them too or else they look strange.

They came on the GT and G40 model

I'm not 100% about them not being available from dealers, its what I was told and never looked into it so if I was you I would check anyway, or GSF.

www.clubpolo.co.uk is decent for parts too.
