Basically calculated my corsa doing 22.5 mpg this was calculated on a motorway run for a 1.4 8v this is quite bad. Theres no eml to suggest a fault.

Can anyone suggest any causes of this. Tyres are at the correct pressure and brake aren't binding. Any help would be appreciated

I think your right, always wondered what that stick was for in between the seats.

Last service was the end of october, also had cambelt done at same time. It has done 60k so not a lot for an r reg corsa

Could be, il have a proper look, get this milage sitting at 70 on the motorway, driving in town its worse

All depends on how much petrol your putting in. £20 is sod all now, do you look at how many litres your putting?

Litres mate 20 at shell is about £26 got 100 miles to that, thats 22.5mpg

200miles to 15 litres works out at 60mpg

Deffo got that wrong! i meant 100@15Litres so im getting roughly 30mmg sometimes less

Just check the basics, fuel tank, fuel lines and filter etc etc

Last week put a full tank in and got 249 miles before i was in the red. Will have a good look tomorow.
