It's what 2-3 hours of your life, take half an hour lunch / break instead of your hour for a week, tell them you've done it that way. Panic over. Week later back to your hour.

Not allowed to do that, you HAVE to have a lunch or at least mark down that you have had lunch, you arent allowed to build up time by working through lunch

We were told that we didn't have to work tomorrow. Don't have to take holiday day or anything.

He probably doesn't want you to work through lunch as you already get paid for being there during that time. If you make it up in your own time, obviously you aren't being paid while you're making the time up.

If you don't get paid for lunch then he is just being a cock for not letting you make it up during that time.

i guess thats their policy but the legal rules are that you must take a 15 min break every 7(?) hours of working. The remainder you should be able to work through and claim, however, i work through my lunch 9 times out of 10 but whilst im eating i surf web and what have you, so i guess that dont want people claiming that, which is fair enough
