Been fishing the last couple of nights, didnt have a thing the first night, but half way through the second night this little beuty took my bait
put up an amazing fight, arm was aching big time after well worth it though, weighed 24lb 4 oz my personal best
Wot you think?? Any other carp fisherman on cs then???

Nice one dude!
I had my personal best the other day 21lb 7oz on a pop-up!
I was just doing the day over there and had a 12lb and a 16lb aswell! Mates had been over there a fews nights and only caught a couple! They wondered what i was doing! Had 3 rods out and had all the fish on the same one!
I lost 2 aswell, hook slipped out

Hehe, cheers m8. cant beat carp fishing, chance to have a few beers,maybe doobies if you are that way inclined!! chill with the lads, and generaly get away from it all for a bit oh and a nice fish is a bonus

Sweet well done Matty. Its funny how ur luck can go really, i was there for 30 odd hours without a fish, and my mates had a few, and they were takin the piss outta me for a while, and i said, dont worry i well have one just waitin for a biggun, didnt expect it to be that big though
I am well happy though, gonna try n get my pic in carptalk or one of the fishing papers!!

I go carp fishing all the time, I went barbel fishing last year though for the first time and now im hooked.
My First ever barbel
Weighd in at 6lb 4oz
Not bad for a barbel, never hit the 20lb mark on the carp yet but came pretty close 19lb 14oz, nearly cried when it never made 20

Quality, that is one kind of fishin i wanna do, done most others!! Barbel are supposed to fight really well? Nice lookin fish too, Lol @ 19lb,close, still not a bad fish all the same.
I love fishin, especially when the wather is good
