Love the bokeh on the last one but think the back of the head is a bit boring, IMO needed maybe a side profile or facing towards the camera slightly

yeah i get what you mean, were a few issues though... one its my cousin in the pics and he didnt want to be in them anyway but as i was doing him a favour he had to and there wasnt really much of a gap to shoot through so wouldnt have looked right i dont think.

How did you get the musical notes straight from camera? looks like edited bokeh?

it's quite a clever thing to do Philips_91, you basically cut out the shape you want out of a sheet of paper, then shoot through the shape with plenty of Bokeh and it revels your shape...
Bokeh is usually only round due to the shape of your lens (circular) but many people do the above effect for xmas and valentines day to make stars/snowdrops and love hearts
