I'm getting my plastics done gloss black. My cars polor sea blue whats your thoughts on keeping the side strips and getting them gloss black to or should I remove them?

Remove them, looks cleaner. However the paint underneath will most likely be a bit messy, different colour or bubbles etc. Mine was crap after them being on 10 years.

I removed mine too see what the paint was like underneath, was fine tbh, no marks or scratches or rust or anything. Ended up spraying them gloss black.

Agree on taking them off, makes the car look a lot smoother and cleaner

To me it makes it look pov spec without them. They'd been removed by a previous owner on my old B and I always wished they had left them on. Didn't want to fit any myself as there's no chance they'd be straight
