Right. Ive always thought that. a jet full of people must be able to topple a few rag headswith guns. probably a few civilians would be killed but surley they were heavily out numbered

They didn't think the aircraft would be crashed into a building - that had never happened before. In the past, hijackers have taken over control of the plane and then parked up in a desert for a few weeks while they made demands. I think there had been a few occasions where the hijackers accidentally flew into the sea or the ground, but never intentionally. So, when hijackers took over the aircraft saying they had bombs on board, telling everyone to stay seated otherwise they'd be blown to shit, should they have acted differently?
