Problem you will have is everybody will be complete Rodney's and go mad at the pumps topping their cars and jerry cans up so the shortage will hit quicker... bloody media blowing it all out of proportion as usual. I'll cycle to work if need be...

Coryton in Essex supplies 20 per cent of the petrol to pumps in London and the South East
I'll sell you some Scoth stuff for a 200% markup.
We might not be part of the UK for much longer

We'll get far enough with 90% of the oil and Gas in the North Sea tbh.
I personally don't think it will happen btw and I can't reallt see much point in it.

Surely you are bright enough to work out it's not our banks, having Scottish in the name or having a head office in Scotland does not make it a Scottish only problem.

I worked for Lloyds who were almost taken down by buying hbos so know a lot about that bank and my Mrs works for RBS so yes I am bright enough to know more than most read in the press.

It is relatively obvious that the refinery will get snapped up by one of the oil majors at a bargain price. It's not going to sit there unused for very long, areas of land big enough to put a refinery on don't come along very often.

90% of what is currently the UK, not all of it.
