Morning all

some may remember i swapped out my old xe for a new xe lump and have stripped the old one
(found that someone had not bolted the oil pick up pipe on fully - was only finger tight- and caused loss of oil pressure..not myself i may add)

anyways the bottom end was found to be damaged but gonna put up a for sale thread soon but just wondering what bits if any are worth putting up fo sale or chucking in the bin

Head- recent new tappets and is a coscast one

Main block- looks to have been honed at some point, maybe could use a re-bore perhaps

Crank- scored needs re-grind

Pistonheads
+Rods (shells scored)

Sump

Rocker cover

Misc XE items (random looms/starter etc)

does it all just sound like scrap to go and get weighed in? Or anything even worth selling (can only think of the head being worth something?)

I'd have a go at selling it all mate some bits might be what some people are after - I'd be interested in the sump if you come to sell

thats one car part out of my dads garage (currently all spread out over the floor and on various shelves) he is not happy and wants it shifted haha

rocker cover - depends on condition - 15-20 quid
sump - tenner?
head - worth something if its coscast and not fucked, I think steveon mig would be interested
misc items would be worth something too if they arent fucked.

chuck some pics over of the head matey, pref sealing face as there worth more with meat left on, if been skimmed to death then more for ebay than forums as grasser lads tend to use them

sensors always sell well too. May only seem like small amounts 20 quid here and there but it soon mounts up.
