I have a HP Pavilion DV4-1430us laptop
Other week it suddenly wouldn't power on. Took it to local shop, said it was the charger port and the wire. Got new bits and got it back, now it powers up, but screen stays black and nothing happens. Took it back he said something has fried on the motherboard??
I know fuck all about computers. But sure it could be used for spares (webcam, screen, keyboard, hard drive etc)
He said for the price of the motherboard it would be cheaper to buy a new laptop.
Any ideas what it's worth as spares??
