Selling car.
Don't want to keep the plates.
Sell the car like normal?
No other paperwork needed to transfer the plate to the buyer's name or anything like that?

Nope just do nothing, plate will go with the car.

Out of interest what is it? Are you getting more leaving it on?

Nope no paperwork needed. Just sign over V5 like normal.
