my airbag light stays on constantly and with the new mot rules 2012 i need it so it lights with the ignition and goes off once the cars started any ideas how i can achieve this?

wire it to the ignition switch, once engine starts it will turn the light off...

Dont ask me what wires are what, but its do'able just need to replace the live on bulb to the switched ignition feed

If there's an airbag fitted it it must light then extinguish.

I had a simillar problem on an old tigra where I needed the abs light to come on for four seconds and go out( abs had a wiring fault no one could fix)

So I connected it to the air bag light so the two came on and went out at the same time and it went through MOT no problem

I also need to do this on my focus.

But having a good friend as your mot tester tends to help pmsl.

Or wire it of oil pressure light.

Just test it before 1st april will pass this year with an advisory
