So both my gf and i have MK4 Golf GTI's, her a V reg AGU engine, mines an 02 reg AUM engine.
Mines has the newer engine with KO3S turbo, and has been mapped as far as i am led to believ.
My cars on 104k - Full VW history till i got it, Just had water pump & full belt kit, serviced etc.
FK Coils, Original wheels, mint cloth interior.
Needs bodywork attention (Quoted £300 to repair which im happy to pay)
Hers on 124k, full VW service history, never wanted or needed anything.
Has 18" RS6 Wheels, mint full heated leather recaros.
I have a 40mm suspension kit i intended to fit.
To the point - I was going to sell my car, think it'd be more logical to take the wheels, interior and spring kit from hers & stick them onto mine, and give it to her (Giving it has lower mileage and i personally know the belts etc are done.
Mainly think it'd be better for her to have a slightly newer car with a few k less on it?
Anyone else agree or am i just smoking boulders.

depends if you want to make most money or are happy making less in the sale to "upgrade" her.
are they the same colour? does she mind losing leather, etc

She wouldnt be losing leather as he is going to put it onto his and give his car to her

I would agree that makes sense to do that.. Means you can go on the hunt for a new car or keep hers
