Should have put it up for about 2k. Regardless of no tax and mot, some1 would have paid no bad money for it. Even at 2k, it would still have worked out a cheap car for some1 to fix up and use.

Lol at people offering 500-800 thinking that was good money.

2k base price, then consider reasonable offers close to it.

Turbo_chris would pay 2k for it then make around 4k back breaking it.

Turbo chris is a man who breaks cars. Thats one man out of of the population, something is worth what people are willing to pay. People is generally the consumer public. Cars without tax or test (Within reason unless something special) are worth bugger all.

Luckily for Chloe she found the right person.

As much as i agree and believe that most cars are worth fuck all without an MOT, i also believe thats mainly cars that are under 1k to buy with tax and MOT.

What do Zaf Gsi's go for with tax and test?? About 3.5k-4k?? You certainly aren't going to pick 1 up for 3k less just because it dosn't have an MOT. Unless the owner wants rid fast. These days, most folk take into account what certain cars are worth in parts when pricing it

Theres probably 10 folk to 1 who would be willing to break a car and get more money back, or look at it as a cheap buy, which in this case, around 2k would be considered cheap imo.

Yes, a car is only worth what some1 is willing to pay, and in this case i bet there would be loads of folk willing to pay quite a lot more than the 500-800 that folk were suggesting its worth.

Most folk though wont have a trailer, will wonder why it hasnt got an MOT what will need doing to get it through an MOT and then breaking the car? Not everyone is turbo chris.

I think you are failing to see the point. People clued up in this field would see an oppertunity. To your man in the street its an old mpv that needs money spent on it.

No chance there's 10-1 that would rather break a car.

The other way around might be closer.

good luck with the numpty off ebay turning up, or when they turn up tyre kick and offer you alot less than the price they bid.

Ebay fucks me off for selling cars

Oh and then you will have the fees to pay

Hopefully they will come and take it for the price they won it for
