i have decided to c20let my corsa and am needing some parts so let me know if you have anything ...
plans are to run either an F20 or F18 preferably and F20 the engine i am hopefully buyin will be coming withou clutch fly wheel intercooler n pipes etc so was wondering if anyone had any of these for sale as not wantin to spend mega money on it cheers

If your running an F20. drive it carefully and keep it standard. If your upping the power I wouldn't bother mate.. I destroyed an F20 in a standard LET Corsa.
Do it right and put an F28 in.

Do as Col said, extra gear is better for the motorway also
yeh the gearboxes are more expensive but they will last. saves changing the box when it goes boom

280 will kill an F20 in day's mate.

sure the f28 has the same gears as a f20? seen many clets running 250bhp + using f18/f20 boxs with no problems, If your going down the let route its best to read up and learn all about them

But in 5th on a motorway at 70 is it not sitting on boost on a f20?

no , only if you are labouring the engine and makeing the turbo work.

My F20 was fine and to my knowledge still is fine with the current owner. I would recommend if you are going for big power to go with F28 though, plus it needs that 6th gear on the Mway

f28s are 300 a shot were as a f20 is 30ish quid a shot 6th gear doesn't make that much of a difference to be honest

the engine was made to use an f28 thats wat i use on mine m8 f20 mite work mite not f20 alot less work to fit in thou
