will need the 1.6 ecu, with the key chip
and i presume the injectors would be in the engine when purchased

you can use your old x14xe ecu, loom, ecu, chip and transponer on the x16xe engine. my mate ran his x16xe engine on his x14xe ecu for a year and never had any problems, only thing he changed was his engine

should run fine, i had a c16xe and the x16xe kept up fine with mine, i had a few mods so was a few feet a head but nothing else changed. he could run the x15xe ecu untill he got all the other bits for the engine

it would only give you about 5bhp more, not much, can get more from puttin a S/S exhaust, air filter and Performance Inlet Manifold on, it should run fine and be faster than the 1.4 slightly, you will notice abit of difference. you could get the ecu chipped and raise the rev limiter to give ya a little bit more power

i would say about 112ish, as they are 104 standard i think, it will run fine with the x14e ecu.. my c16xe had 109bhp and had air filter, stainless manifold back, and standard back box

cant map corsa ecus, can be chipped but its abit pikey
if your going through the hassle of changing an engine do it properly,
1.4 and a 1.6(on a 1.4 ecu) i doubt there will be a power increase tbh,
the ecu wont know the bore is now 1.6, there for will be running lean
for the hassle of a key and an ecu might aswell have the engine on its full power

i would presume they are the same but would be worth checking part numbers

I would of thought the o2 sensor would read the gases, and adjust the fueling, so it would run like it should.

Could you not run the 14xe loom and just plug into 16xe ECU?
