A good wax is probably what you need. My Polo came up well, was clayed, Autoglym SRP then 2 coats of dodo juice hard candy. She cleaned up well that yoke

The wax I mentioned is fantastic. You should see the beading after it

Last time I bought a bottle it was £9 from Halfrauds. The Meguirs Endurance Tyre Gell is also the best tyre blackener I have used.

Just ran down and checked, and yes, it is. Once I bought my first bottle and tried it I knew I was onto a winner.

And be sure to apply plenty of pressure with the polish. When I was finished back then the white cloth I used would have been a pink/red shade.

i used to use Auto Glym SRP then Auto Glym Extra Gloss protection, leave that on for an hour our so while doing few other bits and bobs, used to do it about 2/3 times a week though, the paint felt soft and smooth after, if anybody leant against car they would just start sliding off

The T-Cut and Super Resin seem to have made a significant difference, but as you've said yourself G3 may be required. When I was using the Meguirs Wax the cloth would have still ended up a pink/red shade, but I don't know if the wax alone would get rid of those squares. If it was my car I think i would try G3 first with Meguirs Wax over the top.
