Did this a week ago. Sliced through the skin just above my nail, the skin was still attached so I pushed it back down and put a plaster on it. After a few days I realized that the skin was basically dead (couldn't feel it when touching it) so I pulled it off!

Now the top has a chunk out of it. Will this grow back to normal? There's no scab just looks like another layer of skin of you get me

Anyone have a similar experience? Thanks

at pulling it off. I made a nice deep slice in the top of my knuckle with a razor blade just after xmas and just kept it covered with a plaster after it bled for a good few hours. It has healed but the flap now has no feeling in it and I have a very faint scar where I sliced it.

It depends on how deep it was really, If it just looks like another layer of skin underneath then it will most probably just grow back

If it looks like a layer of skin underneath then it will grow back as normal. You would have to go a fair bit deeper for it to end up looking deformed. I did the same thing when slicing an onion. Hurt like fuck!
