just had some knock on my door, fuckers caught me right in the middle of painting.
she asked me what my views were on the concept of armageddon.
i just said i have none, bye
anyway, what happens when 2012 comes and goes without any ''end of the world scenario'' coming true? do they just say god has stopped/prolonged it?
seems like a shitty religion to be a part of. wearing only black clothes and knocking on doors at the weekend to try and brainwash people.

Same as all religion, they just alter wordings to suit their beliefs.

Religion has no set date for the end of the world. The 2012 thing is a guess by mathematicians at what Nostodamus said. He never gave an exact date on the Georgian calendar.

They just piss me off waking me up on a weekend ringing on the door.
Leg it down stairs, open the door, and its some religious prick.

I thought it was the Mayans 5000 year calendar. 21/12/12 is the astral alignment, all planets in the solar system come into line causing 500000000000 times our usual gravity, thus desteoying the earth.*
* last bit is slight hyperbole

you were a bit worried at first but overall thought bruce willis pulled off a great performance
the 2012 thing is from the mayan tablet which has been retranslated by the leading mayan historian and it means "end of an era" not end of the world. it was on the bbc news site but hasnt been widely publicised due to not being sensationalist enough

I wish there was a set date for the end of all religion. That'd be sweet.

so wish i had said something like that but tbh she seemed quited nice and went away without any argument, if it was someone pushy then they would have got some decent chat back

maybe thats what mayans predicted, this end of an era thing. all religious leaders will get together and decided its time to come clean and admit it was all a big joke

So techncially the mayans were first to invent the 'tablet' followed by the likes of apple etc.
