it would probably be easier with the dash out as you are probably going to have to replace the whole heater setup with one from a non aircon version

dont need the dash out mate...

for future reference for people who want there's out...

there's screws under the scuttle, screws under the plastic bit in the middle thats also under the scuttle and a top secret screw vauxhall decided to hide up near were the bit that holds the battery tray in (from the engine bay side) pure awkward cnut!!

anyway... its out but...

i now have the problem of air?

the air went through the pollen filter (were non a/c's have the screen wash bottle) down into that gay black box ^, across inside the box, up into another plastic bit under the scuttle/on the bulk head area, across and back down into the heater system... kind of like this...

down the far left, up the next one and down again into the heaters/blowers...

iv got plenty of aluminium plate and sealing the holes up wont be an issue but what should i do??

id like to keep the pollen filter as i have hay fever

anyone got pics of the standard non a/c set up that'd help very much
