My friends got a 1.0 - x10xe i think? On a W-reg..

Now it seems to have developed a loss of power/ acceleration.

Took it for a little spin and seems to top out at about 50mph, droping down a gear or two makes no difference.

It has a engine light on, is it poss to do the paperclip test?? If so does anyone have a link?

Any ideas to the problem?? as im not clued up on this little engine.

Dus it sound diffrent?exhaust note cud be afm coilpack possibly egr or lambd sensor afm would be my 1st choice though

You can't do the paperclip test on the x10xe unfortunately btw.

It wont be egr

afm or idle air control valve but icv would make it rev itself etc so Id go for afm

Yes itl run difrent with it unpluggd beter tbh 1 o mine did it and that were the cause

common issue the afm's done one a week ago with your symtoms
