why the hell do people bid before the closing time, It really does grind my gears, are people really that stupid?
I know alot of people ask their mates to up a bid, but im sure alot of thick people are out there too.

People sometimes put in their maximum bid, and then just sit back and hope that it's enough to win the auction

my pet hate is when people pay the buy it now, pisses me off.

Rather than putting a maximum bid and leaving it at that, most people will bid near the end of an auction so that they can hope to get the item cheaper - obviously the more bids, the higher the final price will be...

It gets on my tits too, fair enough the people put in their maximum bid maybe a few hours or the day before but why do muppets start bidding 5 days before it finishes?

I always leave it to the last few seconds, but I always pay straight away. It pisses me off when people bid at the last minute, and don't bother paying for days later. Your able to bid so why not pay?

I recently sold some springs on there for 5 days and after a few hours they already had a bid. After more bidding by other people the winning bidder was actually that first person to bid I guess he just wanted them more than everyone else.

But yeah, when I see something I like I just chuck a bid in and leave it, you get reminders when the auction is about to end so you just take action then.

A lot of the time it's about what you're selling and what kind of people that particular item is appealing to.

common sense.

put a bid in 5 days before it ends and if it's a sensible bid then it'll put other people off.
