why do you need 1 of those for mate? wiring the xe into the corsa is super easy go to scrappy and chop off the plug thats on the loom that goes to the wiring on the dash then its a matter of soldering each wire colour for colour.

green to green (rev counter)
brown yellow to brown yellow (diagnostic wire)
brown white to brown white (diagnostic wire)
Blue to blue (water temp sensor)
brown blue to brown blue (motronic light on dashboard)
Thick blue red to thick Blue red (fuel pump)
thin blue red to thin blue red (fuel pump relay)
black wire to black wire from engine bay (ignition switched live)

this is the part you need:

have you got a maplin near you? if so there only like £10-15 and they come with a small amount of solder or just get 1 off of ebay. whatever you do dont go using speaker wire crimps because they are sh*te, and make sure you use heat shrink also to cover the solder. also on your c20xe loom near where your distributor and coil plugs are there is a single black wired plug which you need to chop that plug off and run that to the inside of your car that wire is your ignition switched live, if you have any troules mate call me just about to u2u my number across to you its very easy and really is not worth paying £30 for a twag loom lol because all that is is the original xe loom plugs and corsa plug wired together the same way im trying to tell you, the twag loom is for lazy people

also if youb get really stuck mate you can send me your loom and i will set it up ready for you to just plug & play i could probably get it picked up and sent back for around £14 and it would be a couple of day turn around or just buy an already converted corsa xe loom off of ebay

Cheers mate thanks really appreciate it,il let you know how I get on. Think I can probably borrow a soldering gun off someone. So what do I need to join the actual wires together? Or do I literally just solder the bare wires to each other?

you will need some Heat shrink:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-6mm-Black-Heat-Shrink-Heatshrink-Tubing-PER-METRE-/220894562039?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item336e5786f7#ht_1560wt_1110

this is used for after when you have soldered the wires together but you must put this on before you solder the wires then you slide it over the solder joint and use a ligther and it will shrink over the join and protect it from toucjing other wires or the chasis etc.

you will obviously need a soldering iron.

and you will need to get some solder wire:

you can use electrical tape instead of heat shrink but i have personally always used heat shrink because its alot tougher and dont unravel like tape does after when it gets old
