do you get LiveView on the back screen ? alter the settings and you get the change on the screen

i usually just whip the card out and into the laptop, hardly going to take notes of what settings ive taken pics on

Right click the image, properties, details, all exif data should be under the heading camera (or atleast it is on mine (windows 7)

When no tripod is available use the top of a wall or something. you'd find much clearer results

are you hosting these on facebook lee? they'd look loads better if you got a photobucket account or something. Or you could get a flickr account but they're about £25 a year for a pro one!

if photobucket wasn't so slow to navigate it would be a beast but everything takes forever, thats why flickrs so good! that and it keeps the quality high for sharing etc
