Did anyone catch this on TV last night, the atrocities and war crimes just a few years back in Sri Lanka?
Hundreds of thousands of civillians were moved into 'no kill zones' and then shelled remotely by artilliary weapons.
On top of that, the government deliberately cut food and medical supplies.
IIRC, the amount of food required for that numbers of people (hundreds of thousands) was around 60 tonnes a day, instead they had something along the lines of 120 tonnes over 2 months.
To finish it all off, when they sent in the army to rescue people (a cover up), it was easier/cheaper to kill injured people rather than help them.
Its quite easy to read stuff like this in the news and not really give it much thought, but seeing people carry their children in body bags while still being attacked, young people being bound, gagged and executed and glorified was about as bad as it gets.
very interesting watch.

Not seen no but i can imagine the images.
I have visited The Killing fields in Cambodia and the S21 torture camp which was a few miles down the road. Walking around these places and seeing the pictures you wonder how some people could act like this to others especially their own. Rather than waste a bullet they grabbed hold of kids by the legs and smashed the kids around tree trunk, still see shards of bone and clothing round the tree trunks. Anyone with half a brain was killed because Pol Pott wanted everyone to work in the rice fields and make him rich . Princess Dianna helped out there to bring to light the problems they had with the land mines years after.
Kids last week hit a shell left over from the Vietnam war in their class room with a hammer when the teacher went out of the room....... **BOOM** Lucky Buddah said it wasnt there time to go that day
These are the rules what the tortured had to obbey too.
