I've just fitted my xe with f20 box into a Corsa,I tried setting up the gear linkage today but It didn't work and I'm not sure the gearbox is in neutral,it also doesn't seem to have one of them button things with the spring so how do I go about getting it into neutral? Then is it just a case of locking the gear stick in the neutral position with a screw driver in the 2 holes and linking up the linkage and rod?

if it hasnt got the spring button, it will have a hole which you can put an allen key in, give it a wiggle and the correct size allen key will lock it in place

pull out the plastic plug, put a allen ey on and shake the selector till you feel the allen key slide in and lock it in neutral, then leave it in and go lock the selector in the same way inside the car

Use a 2x 5mm drill bits, I find they fit better.
