I fancied a RS 200 in red with black speedline wheels, black roof and sprint spoiler. I think the Mini is a better road car though.

197 and 200s do lack abit of torque.
There soon to be switching to a 1.6 turbo ive heard.

No torque means you need to man up and use the gears.
N/A is so much more fun that wheezy turbos. Rev the car, it's the fun part makes you do this

I always felt like I was hurting the car in my Z3M. Didn't think it was fast at all.
Then I realised I had 4000rpm to go.

Get mine back this week with a new rad and alternator belt, gonna stick some 4 new Conti Sport Contact 3's on it and get to Combe
CSC3's and straight to the track, you must be made of money. I will barely get a track day out of my current set and they aren't even that old
They are only 400 for a set and you live in Oz where it's boiling hot and it boils your tyres
Yeah they are $280 each here, thats nearly 190 pounds, so almost double
Luckily, www.tirerack.com delivers to australia

How you rate the tyres Byron? Just looking on Clio197.net and lot of the lads have opted for the V12 and said performance is equal to the CSC3 and half the price.
Talk to me.
Anyone else experience of Hancock V12?

hi ollie, i went for the v12s last tiem i put tires on my clio, i really like them and seem to give good grip, did few laps on brands hatch with them on, car moved about quite a lot on them but in a controlable and fun way! dont think it would have taken many laps to overheat them! for the few laps i did they were prob more fun then r888s cos car moved about far more! were around a second slower then my r888 over a lap of brands!
on the road a really nice tyre! especially for the price, i got my from clamskil

Hankook v12 is a great tyre.
Had them on my Astra.
For the price, you won't get better.

I have only driven about 10 miles on them so far and not given them anything to think about either.
Roadnoise is considerably quieter than the CSC3 that I removed though
They look like they are a pretty soft compound, but from the reviews I read before buying them, they were all really really good and even those in hotter climates said how well they performed all round.
Think I paid £280 delivered from Camskill iirc?
