What do people tend to do with banned Xbox 360s, are they worth anything still on the secondhand market or are they best used for parts?

This isn't about mine BTW as it's not banned, I just wondered what people did with their banned consoles (apart from the obvious of buying a new one).

Alot of ppls keep them for offline play or JTAG them.
Also, there are ways of unbanning them or at least from what I've heard. Maybe bullshit.
