Mrs got a Tigra A and there's sometimes a strong smell of fuel coming into the car, doesn't really matter if your turning corner's or stood still in traffic but it is worse if the heater blowers are on. I've checked under the car and there's no dripping of fuel, checked inside the bay and its all dry and doesn't smell of fuel either
Anybody with any other ideas please?

I used to get this and it turned out my tank was porous; it had got so rusty that fuel was seeping vapour was seeping out.

Can I check that without taking the tank off first? The float has never been right either really. Put £20 of fuel in and struggles to go past 1/4 tank on the gauge.
