need peoples opinions, how much is the going rate for a 2004 1.2 corsa C headgasket job?
the head skimmed already so not counting that cost in, this is for a specialist aswell not main dealer.
Thanks

removal, strip down, i then had the head skimmed separately , then replace headgasket and anything else that gets done and put back together. How much should it be roughly do you think?

5.5 hours is the book time.
Remember its a timing chain engine so not as straight forward as timing belt.
What are they quoting?

300 quid would be about right i think. my brother paid £600 but that needed to be sent away to be skimmed, and he had a couple of other bits sorted aswell.

Assuming they are about £50 an hour the £330 inc vat.
Id say that was resonable tbh.
I would have done it for £150

5.5 hours if everything goes straight forward that is ie no rounded/rusted bolts etc
