Does anyone run a bigbore race stainless steel manifold on there c20xe and did it make much difference to the standard 4-2-1 ???

its not stainless but the bigest bore my mates got is an sbd type c mainifold. did help performance but has many other mods to help to.

With supporting mods, it would make a difference. But just changing the manifold, you won't see any proper gains.

Many have said that the standard manifold is good for up to near enough 200bhp.

If you go about 1/2 inch bigger manifold with an exhaust system the same size it will make a lot of difference even on a standard engine. Both made loads of diffence on my XE and X18XE1. But it would be pointless sticking a huge manifold on a say standard bore exhaust
