Tight enough so there's no wobble but loose enough so you can turn the drum nice and easy by hand.

i always say the weight of a spanner on the nut without pushing down on it at all...
i.e not tight at all lol
dont worry if you've put full force on it... iv done that before and got about 40 miles before it shit the bed haha

The rear one should be done up tight enough so that the big washer can just about be moved/slid over using a screw driver. That is tight enough. No torque or weight or anything.
