See one for sale, thinking about buying one to get rid of badges etc but how do you use one? I mean if I hold it too long will it melt the paintwork etc?
Sorry to sound like a newbie but never used one before

Ok mate I didnt read it just knew it was there.
But yeah if you hold it too long it will melt the paintwork. try and keep the gun moving imo, rather than concentrating the heat at one place.
Just take your time and peel it slowly

Best way is heat them carefully in short, side to side stints. Get a mate to help and drop some fishing wire behind the badge to slice through the adhesive. Slowly peel back. Job done

Safer with a hairdryer tbh. If its only for removing badges, i wouldn't bother buying 1.

Hot water is the better way to remove badges, Heatguns can do some damage. Screwfix do one for a tenner if you're hell bent on getting one.
