Since i bought my car its always idled high
It idles at about 1.5-2k
Ive cleaned throttle body and used redx
Wat else can i try?

check for air leaks on the vaccum hoses. quick test is spray easystart or wd40 along them, if the revs pick up, youve got a leak

check the gasket where it bolts to the manifold, check its actually bolted on tight enough and make sure the seal isnt damaged.

what engine is it?

mine does it every now and again, its ok once warmed up so what i did was unplug the ICV to try and narrow the problem down, ever since then its been ok so i've left it unplugged and its been fine ever since, the only thing is i have to give it a bit of throttle when starting up as theres no auto choke

they quite common have a fault with the idle control motor ( the black box with a plunger pressing against the throttle lever ) .

with you saying it drops when you knock it, it could be a loose connection inside the icm or something.
