175/70/14 front or rear.
X2 are 185/70/14

would i gain better fuel consumption

185/70/14 are too big for a Corsa anyway. They'll throw your speedo out.

but i have seen sxi 5 spoke wheels with 195/60/14s.. does that make a differance

185/60/14's came as standard on the Sport rims, but not the SXI's. The wheels are narrower on them.

No Corsa came with 195's from factory. Yes they'll fit, but the speedo will be wrong.

Speedo will under-read from standard but probably still be within tolerance.

Might look a bit daft mind.

195/45/15's are a popular choice fir 15's

Yes, good size if you are lowering and have wheels with incorrect offset.
